A peek inside the 3 part format of each Chatt Art episode.
Part I - The History
"I never learn anything talking. I only learn things when I ask questions." - Lou Holtz
Every person has a back story. At Chatt Art we are excited to learn the stories of the making of an artist.
Where did they grow up? Were they always making and being creative when they were younger? Was their creativity encouraged?
These are just a few of the questions that we will ask in the biographical section of a Chatt Art episode.
Part II - The Art
"Art is the journey of a free 'soul.' " - Alev Oguz
An artist is often known by their artwork. Chatt Art episodes will dive into everything that makes an artist's work unique with in depth descriptions and lots of questions.
What medium do you work in? Is there specific subject matter you prefer to represent? Do you work in series? What's your favorite tool? How do others describe your work?
These are just a few of the questions that are included in the Art portion of each Chatt Art episode.
Part III - The Practice
"Without great solitude, no serious work is possible." - Picasso
Every artist has their particular habits that foster their best work. Chatt Art episodes include explorations into an artist's practice.
Where is your studio? Do you work best alone or in collaboration? Is your studio loud or quiet? Do you keep a particular schedule?
These are just a few of the questions we will explore in our studio practice portion of a Chatt Art episode.
